Guide ContentsStep 5- Cutting into frames
Step 5- Cutting into frames
This is the last step I myself am going to talk to you about, this one is stretching the video and turning the video into frames.
From the next SS I gave you, we are going to stretch the right box into the type of Size/dimensions as a signature. This can be done easily by grabbing onto the bottom right corner of the and moving it to the desired shape.
Now open Photoshop CS4/CS3. Go back to Virtual Dub and go to the first frame of you video, basically rewind it fully. Then print screen, then go on Photoshop and File>New. It will automatically put the same resolution as the picture you are holding. Now Paste it. Then cut out the INSIDE of the right box PERFECTLY.
After that save as a PNG (because of the good quality) in a folder you made for your sig. I called the frames Frame1, Frame2….etc.
Don’t exit it yet. Now go back to VirtualDub and press right on your keypad, until it’s the next looking frame. Remember just keep on pressing right until the image moves/changes. Sometime on Virtual Dub it has same Picture for 5 frames. Just copy all the ones that look different, some have big differences some have tiny. And then after changing, print screen with new frame. Now paste this screen over the first frame that was cut out, and move it around until u get the next frame right on top of it. After this it will get easier, because after this when u move the print screen image frame, it will automatically move to the same exact fit when u get near, kinda like a magnet . But remember not to change your virtualdub window from “maximize” to smaller or move the program around, then it’s not going to be magnetic again and you will have to move it in place again before it will become magnetic again which will take a longer time. After finishing saving all the separate frames, then we will move to the next step.
