Step 4- Cropping
Open VirtualDub, Now go File>Open video file and open the video you just saved.
Now it’s time to crop it to the size you want, go to Video>Filters or press Ctrl + F. We need to put a filter in order to start cropping (I don’t know why, you just do). So let’s put the filter “resize”, go to “Add” then scroll down to resize and click “Ok”. Now this Box should open , You don’t need to resize anything here really. All resizing will take place later.
Okay now click on the filter and then click “Cropping…”. This should open up letting u crop the image. This is how you crop it.
Remember before cropping it always you can use the scroll wheel on your mouse or the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move the frames of the video. And Also DO NOT crop it like I’m about to show you, because it’s just for example. The way I’m cropping it will just cut off almost the whole 2h out of the clip.
Once done cropping. Exit the filter box. Now you will see the two boxes. The right one is the cropped one. The Left is the original.
Next step is annoying and time consuming.
