Step 3- Trimming your clip
Okay now you should download and install Windows Movie Maker and VirtualDub. Open WMM(Windows Movie Maker) . I’m going to have to show you this in pictures mostly because it is confusing to explain.
After opening WMM. You have to import the video /clip you want to use.
Now you should drag the video into your storyboard. And then click “Show Timeline”
Now this is how you trim it. Zoom in until its big enough to work with easier, and pull from left side of clip to cut from beginning , and right side to cut from end. I recommend you cut it so that it looks like char is doing over and over again without stopping, like look at my signature or some of Ladder’s.
Now that you are done doing that, we must save it to open with VirtualDub. To Save, click on “Save to My Computer”. Then choose what you want to name it and where to save it. Press “Next” when you are done with that part. Now you must choose how to save it, Click “Other Settings” and use DV-AVI (NTSC).
