SW/Splashy ice mage build

There are not any good SW/splashy guides out there so I will do my best to present this mage build.

Why to chose this build, why not go only lightning, or only ice, or only fire.
This is one of the strongest mage builds. It combines a medium long range attack with slow effect and a powerful short range attack.

Status:
By level 50 you should be something like this.

Health – 70
Intelligence – 90
Wisdom – 70

From 01 to 50 = 1 point cost
From 51 to 70 = 2 point cost
From 71 to 90 = 3 point cost
From 90 = 4 point cost

So basically try to get intelligence to around 60 then wisdom to 40 and health to 50. Then try to add at your own choice to get you as quick as possible to intelligence 90, but don’t forget on health and wisdom. Make sure you have at least 50 health when you reach 21, because the mobs you will be fighting will be more powerful.

Skills:

Until level 50 you will receive 61 skill points if you do all the quests. This build only needs 46 skill points, so you will have enough skill points at the end to experiment a bit.

For a SW/Splashy mage you will need the following skills

From levels 1-29

(- Heal g3, heals you)
(- Cure g1 heals other player or you)
- Lightning g5 (needed to use ShockWave)
- Ice g20, this will be you primary attack

From levels 30-49

- Ice mastery g5, this will add the slow effect, very useful
- Meditation g3, this will recover mana while you are standing still and sitting
- ShockWave(SW) g5, your secondary attack, also the second attack by its damage in game for mage
- Splashy Ice g5, Area of Attack(AoE) spell, it creates an ice ring hitting all mobs who are in range, and slowing then with Ice mastery
- Speed up g3, the all powerful speed up, speeds you up, has 3 stages, g1 is just a bit better than the walk, g2 is in the middle, but g3 is the ultimate running machine
(-Revive g1, revives targeted dead person)
(-Frost g1) freezes the enemy and makes him unable to move for 5 second, useful when you are low on health you freeze the monster run , recharge health, and go and kill him, but if you touch him the freeze effect will disappear

Why did I putted heal, cure and revive into brackets. It’s optional to get it, some mages want to get revive and for revive you need cure g1, for cure g1 you need heal g3, so this is additional 5 points, so this means 5 levels used for revive.
If you chose to get revive you will be in a point dilemma. You will use 5 points for revive, but than at the level up you at level 36 you will have all the requirements for the revive, but in 37 you will have a chose between g4 splashy, speed up, or revive, But later on when you have your SW/splashy complete feel free to experiment with skills, you can also add freeze which is useful when getting mobbed.

How to kill?

In the first 33 levels its quite easy you use Ice g20, from level 30 with with Slow effect from ice mastery, and you hit the mob until is dead.

But then you can get SW, the best attack until you get Thunder as a hermit.
Now the tactics change, you get as far away from the monster you want to kill, use Ice which has the slow effect now (the weaker the mob is for you, the better the chance to get it slow).
Hit it from a big distance because g20 ice has a big range, it can get slowed and it needs a longer time to get to you, now when he is near to you use SW and just kill the mob in seconds, by this way you can get exp. quickly by killing purple mobs, but beware you need you SW g4-5 to start killing some higher purples.

Splashy ice is very useful for farming (killing a lot of low level mobs for quick money and exp.). Prepare to use a lot of medicine when farming, the best way is to farm ghosts, they are not far away and have good drops to sell. Start by finding 1 or 2 close and use this skill, then move a bit, you probably got them slowed so run to another ghost use the skill, they will all follow you but really slow. Just remember try not to get mobbed, and try not to KS others. You will get a lot of exp. in a short time and a lot of money and some drops. Just remember to keep moving and not to stay at one place to long.

Weapons, armors and accessories:

- For attacking Sea Dan is the best, it’s also called an attackers sick, try to put a ToI which adds intelligence to the weapon, but for a g40 weapon I think its not worth to put a multi stat talisman on, some explosive blow isn’t also bad
-Try to get a bird egg, and just keep it at you and grow it large until g31
-I would recommend +3 intelligence ring, belt and a mage trinket, but if you think you have low health you can find a knight trinket with +3 intelligence or +3 health, +4 and +5 is better but its usually expensive but you can afford it when you will be a higher level
-In the beginning you will try to get g32 and then buy g42 piece by piece, I think that g42 + 2, is good because if you have the full set it gives you +10 intelligence, after that try with g46 Armors, you can put Talismans of Protection on it, just use the one you think you need the most, but enchanting your whole armor with ToP’s is usually expensive.
Well I hope I interested you into using this type of mage, by my opinions its really powerful and can egg party really good when he is 45+.
