This guide will help more for higher level players, because lower level players should be more focused on leveling than money-making. Also, you need to be level 11 or higher to open your own private shop. The only hint i can give lower levels is to get a lot of those quest items (stirrups, maps, so on) and resell them by the npc that gave you the quest. This can make a small fortune if you're dedicated and patient.

*NEVER EVER BUY FROM THE NPC! They will sell your things for (much) more than you can get them from other players! Also, they're shirts are red wtih white polka dots.

NPC G42 Prices are:
Chest~126,539
Head~57,517
Gloves~31,634
Boots~70,299
Shorts~32,612

Here's a list of the current top-end prices of G42 items.
Chest~100k-110k
Head~50k-55k
Gloves~30k
Boots~60k-70k
Shorts~30k
k=thousands (10k=10,000)

If you're patient enough, you can find people selling
Chest for 90k, Head for 40k, Gloves for 20k-25k, boots for 50k, and shorts for 25k. Just remember that if you look hard enough, you'll find it. After all, patience is a virtue.

The list of G42+2 (str for knight, agi for archer, int for mage)
Chest~190k-200k
Head~100k
Gloves~100k
Boots~100k
Shorts~100k
(all four of those cost about 100k)

Searching can get you
Chest for 150k, head for 80k, gloves for 70k, boots for 80k, and shorts for 70k. Big difference isnt it? 20k-50k on each one, and that piles up in a hurry.

*Some more prices on miscellaneous stuff
Clean Trinkets, Belts, and Rings~15k (maybe 14 if someone mistyped)
+1 acces. 25k (20 if someone's really wants to sell)
+2 acces. a myth, told to scare little children
+3 acces. 225-250k (200 for less useful stats or if someone's lazy)
+4 acces. 750k (big jump, only for the hardcore merchants)
+5 acces. they're popping up, and it's like 4.5mil (these are for people who have made a lot of money and want an awesome acces. and it's not an easy job to resell these)

Polishing Stones~100-110k (you'll find some 90-95 through hardcore searching, and it's worth it) (you'll be really tempted to use these, so control yourself to keep the steady profit going)

Saving Scrolls~350-400k (very rarely you'll find someone selling for 300k each, buy as many as you can afford, that's 50k profit a piece if you resell for 350k which is still very cheap)
Moving Scrolls~10-12k (not a huge profit but if you find someone selling cheap saving scrolls, chances are they're selling some cheap moving scrolls, and it looks nice to have both saving and moving.

*Once you get a G40 weapon, you can go to the blacksmith and give it some explosive blow capabilities, and you'll find many people around the blacksmith selling revision stones (used to increase the chance of successfully increasing your weapon's explosive blow) for anywere from 15k-18k, depending on how many people there are. You might see more people coming and selling for 100 geons less than the lowest seller there, because they want people to buy and to get the maximum profit for each stone. Any time you see 15k stones, you should consider buying them in bulk and resell them for 16k or higher when there are less people and the lowest price there is about 16.5k. This isn't a huge, quick money maker, but in the long run it's a steady profit machine.

*Be sure to resell everything you buy! You might be tempted to wear or use items you get for cheap prices, but that won't make you any money! (duh) If you're persistent, you'll eventually be able to buy things with just your profits, so you can stay around an amount of money, buying whatever you need only when you have that much more than what you started with.

*Sell at the right place! It makes no sense to sell a G42 Knight Chest at the Magician master, and selling anything in the middle of nowhere will get you nothing.

*Name your shop correctly. Make your shop's name short and to the point, and dont name it something like "BUY NOW OR DIE" because no one will pay you any attention.
