Hey,

I know how magers work and what they need, but I played a Hermit in Nareaha and now started on Hanin. Which class is best on Hanin?

Full healer
Attacker healer
Hermit with lightning and ice storm at 65
Or a Hermit focusing on full storm build at 65?

If somebody has suggestions for the best mage to play, they're welcome.

from my point of view hermit on 65 on hanin is useless, at this lvl cjb is more welcome (parties to heal goses i guess) but still useless, at hanin any low char wont have fun in pvp cos of lvl diferences, if ur final goal is 65 then chose char u like to play, ppl going f10, vod, at 65 u dont have place there.

my goal isn't lvl 65, but i just mentioned it to take full stormer or not full stormer, so what if i'm 75?

You dont have enough skillpoints for 3rd Job Skills if you chose 3 Storm Mage, so if you going to be lvl 70+ go for 2 Storms. Many Ascetics even reset speed and other skills, because they want all 75+ Skills Max Grade + LA etc...

but ain't it impossible to take all spells of 3rd job to max? cause you need also fire then

I didn't said all 3rd Job Skills, i said all 75+ Skills + LA etc (etc = Icicle or Flame Injektion). But i just tried it with KalEncy, its possible to get all 3rd Job skills but dont know if it makes sense xD (Ascetic)
I think you have to chose between Icicle and FI

It is very well possible to have all 3 Storms, 2 70+ Skills maxed and all 75+ Skills maxed.

Yea, i would choose to either take LA and Icicle or LA and FI.

well i am not sure but imo LA+FI is best choice atm, i had that combination in the past but had many cons vs FI, also Icicle was more useful cos of f8 or vod. i used to play on f8 1 lure with la+storm and 2nd icicle+mi, with that combination and my build my mana didnt go down, but after GMs "fixed" LA and its range i couldnt play in that way any longer cos some mobs after LA lure are still in good condition and u have to use a lot of mana to kill it with ir/splash. so this way is no longer effective, also f8 was f*** up lately cos of new wonderful add-in the game which is lottery. i used to play vod to lure 1st mobs around town and kill them with icicle /splash MI, but GMs change lots of them and we have less of them in same spots with different skills. but however Icicle is still nice skill in some cases like finishing lures on foe on some lvls, likeLA storm+mi with bless and then Icicle, total dmg from this skill is 5 x2.75= 13.75 which isnt awesome anymore but still lots of nubs runing with very low hp around and u still have big chances to kill many ppl with it on pvp when u have bless:P
now look at FI which makes 6 hits, when i had it was 3.8k+ not sure about dmg atm but after calculation its 6x3.8=22.8k when 2 first hits u make in same time, so again many chars are dead after u execute skill, with next wave 80-90% players are dead, but skill has also weak points like making dmg in front of u, also when u target on runing char u can execute it in funny direction which u rly didnt want, also some chars can run out of it and attack u from behind. the only good thing is all our 70+ skills makes same dmg always (with MI) cos its magical dmg, but those attacks arent strong enough and if u compare it to SS with 30sec cd or AR on panther it looks funny how our king of AOE char is no longer best here, but at least we have nice 75+ skills which soon wont be so powerful and many asc will quit again:>
to topic as asc u need 3x75 and 2x70+ all maxed, what u do with other skills is ur choice.
i am trying to find new set of skills where IA has no longer use and when i will have maxed FI Icicle and LA :>

I barely see the point of being a pure healer because not all the time you'll be getting invites for a party :X That, and having that much many(how ever that "much" may be) seems to be such a waste. We do have Mana Circulation now which does help. So yuh, adding more and more wisdom = healing more hp, and having more mana >_o

More fun to play a character that can Heal a party, and or attack when there isnt a party to heal :S
More party invites(D5/Foe GOS Parties), save meds/water, and can do almost the same thing that a hermit can do but more if ya think about it.
